READ THIS. Two quick Google account checks. Big Impact.
If you’re running a Boxing Day sale, this is your reminder to check your ads twice today - not constantly, just intentionally.
🔹 First check: around 10am
• Ads are running
• No disapproved ads or products
• Merchant Center feed is healthy
• No account or billing errors
🔹 Second check: around 6pm
• Are campaigns limited by budget?
• Is demand strong and sales tracking well? Does ad copy or settings need to be tweaked?
Also, don’t ignore Google’s recommendations during sale periods.
You’ll often see suggestions to lift budget, lift CPA, or drop ROAS.
This can feel backwards - but during sales, dropping your expected ROAS is often what allows you to bid stronger, stay competitive in the auction, and actually drive more revenue (sometimes even at a higher overall return).
If sales are strong and you’re hitting budget caps, it can make sense to lean into spend during the sale window, then pull budgets back in January once the sale ends.
Boxing Day isn’t about perfection - it’s about staying visible, catching issues early, and letting prepared campaigns do their job. DM me if you need a hand. Good luck!
