Understanding Google Ads metrics. What they mean & what you need to focus on.

Feeling overwhelmed by all the numbers in Google Ads? We’re here to help!
Here’s a quick cheat sheet to help you cut through the noise and actually understand what matters:

🔹 CTR (Click-Through Rate) – This tells you if your ad is catching attention. A low CTR? Might be time to tweak your headlines or creative.
🔹 CPC (Cost-Per-Click) – How much are you paying each time someone clicks? Lower is better — (only if the clicks are quality so ensure to check your search term report)
🔹 ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) – For every $1 you spend, how much are you making back? It’s the quickest way to measure profitability.
🔹 Conversion Rate – Of the people who click, how many are actually doing the thing that makes sense for your business (buying, booking, signing up)?

💡 Pro Tip:
If you’re just getting started, CTR and ROAS are your best friends — they give you a quick pulse check on what’s working and what’s not & always review in the last 30 days Vs previous or LY (whatever makes sense for the review).
